From 1915-1967 Norwich had its own Jail housed in the garage at 410 Main Street, home of Fred Fitzgerald who was our town’s Constable for over 40 years. The Jail, discovered by Andy Hodgdon from our Public Works Department has been restored and is now housed in the Historical Society’s barn. Learn more.
