Norwich Historical Society and Norwich Conservation Commission celebrate 50 years of conservation in Norwich!
It is the Norwich Conservation Commission’s 50th anniversary and you are invited to be part of a new community mural project, celebrating Norwich’s natural spaces. We will provide you with canvas. You paint or draw something from Norwich’s natural world that you love. Perhaps it’s a tree, rock covered in lichen, a salamander, or a wildflower.
You can work on your own at home, head out on a walk with the Conservation Commission, or attend a painting workshop where we will offer ideas, inspiration, and techniques for you to try. We will then gather all the canvas and mount them into a community mural to be displayed outsie on the wall at Dan & Whit’s (replacing the Covid circles mural).
We plan to have the mural installed by the end of September.
Check out these circles that have been completed!
