About a hundred years ago, a photographer, whose shadow can be seen in some of these images, captured scenes of daily life on the Bragg Farm, owned by the family whose name gives us today’s Bragg Hill Road. We see in these photographs rarely captured scenes of daily life at the time- the Bragg’s horse-drawn buggy (perhaps it was made on Mechanic Street?), the mailman driving an early automobile, cows out to graze, and even a glimpse into the daily life of the Bragg’s dogs, Bill and Ned. We also get a glimpse into the kitchen, complete with a freshly-baked pie.
