Fleck partnered with Edward C. Lewis to form Fleck and Lewis. Like Allan Gelbin, Fleck and Lewis used Wrightian concepts in the two homes they designed in this Norwich neighborhood. They incorporated expanses of glass and mated the  houses with the surrounding environment. Interior courtyards brought the outside in and made the indoor spaces seamless to the outdoors.  Fleck and Lewis also made use of the hillside to create dramatic views from and of the structures.
